Armagnac "Solera 2001"

Made from 65% Ugni Blanc and 35% Colombard grapes. Inspired by Sherry producers, this Armagnac has been aged in a large oak cask using the Solera method. The 55 hectoliter cask has therefore not been emptied since 2001. 10% of its volume is drawn off each year and it is replenished with Armagnacs from year N-3. This "solera" method enriches the blend year after year and results in an exceptional mellowness.
